The new King of Camelot has been crowned, long live the King!

Uther is still getting used to the weight of the crown, so might look slightly awkward at times, but he's in a very good mood.

Although that could be because of the wine that's flowing freely in the Main Hall.

The tables have quite a bit of food upon them, although compared to previous coronations this one is almost understated.

Feel free to poke the new king or talk amongst yourselves!

Vivienne can't help but laugh.

"I fear then that the court would never recover."

"Perhaps, then, they ought to liven it up a bit around here," she laughs as well. Oh yes. Beneath the sweet exterior lies a devious prankster. Ask Tristan or Agravaine.

Vivienne approves greatly of pranksters. Her brother closest in her to age, and herself, often played them at court.

"I find this court could use some livening up. All it does is talk, talk, talk."

"Even when they are not in session? For heaven's sake, what do they do for fun in Camelot, then?" she asks, frowning at the idea of it.

"I think their idea of fun is to find other people to talk about." The smile's a bit more wry.

"I think Uther's too busy to gossip though." But Vivienne isn't beyond a little bit of harmless prying. If Ygraine doesn't wish to answer, Vivienne won't press.

"And what do you think of Camelot's new king?"

Immediately, her entire demeanour brightened. "Oh I think he's lovely and that he will be a wonderful king for Camelot." She looked at her hands. "He thinks he wouldn't be. But he will. He's strong, which is what the people would need."

The answer is rather telling but not so much as whatever response comes next. "One of the favorite topics of court gossip is whomever the King may marry. No woman's laid claim to him yet."

She nodded. "Whoever it is, I am sure she will be the right bride for the king and the right queen for Camelot," Ygraine chuckled. "Who knows? Perhaps it will be you and you'll liven up the court."

It is a very good thing Vivienne has a very good public face. It's obvious the Princess Ygraine hasn't heard everything, which is rather a relief.

"I'm afraid my chance at being queen died with Kentigern."

She looked genuinely upset at this. "I'm so sorry,"

"Don't be. He died honorably, and though I never had the chance to meet him beforehand. From what I've gleaned I would've liked him, but I cannot mourn long for a man I never knew." It's her very pragmatic, almost cold sounding side. "And as things are, that made Uther the King, so perhaps it is fated. I cannot fight fate."
